Even though I should be in the shower this very minute, getting ready to leave, I stopped to read Sharyn Tormanen’s blog. Bummer, she tagged me. Blog tag is fun, but for this one, I have to reveal my middle name, which I am not fond of. But so be it.
First, the rules of the game:
- Post rules first
- One fact about myself for each letter in my middle name
- Each fact must begin with that letter
- If you don’t have a middle name, use your maiden name
- post on blog
- then tag one person per letter in your middle name
A: Audio books are my current fixation. Forget about “whistling while you work”–listen to an audio book.
R: Real women do yoga and Zumba to stay in shape. I am a real woman. Feel my biceps, baby!
L: Licorice (red) should be somewhere good on the food pyramid, if you ask me.
E: Everyone seems to love seafood but me. Could it be because I was rarely served any growing up and hence do not know how to cook it? You should have seen the salmon filets I tried to serve last night because it’s Lent and I’m Catholic. Passable for a change, but nothing to write home about. One of my daughters actually pushed her plate away and left the table in tears because she was so disturbed about having a dead fish lying on her plate (she eats cows and chickens, though???).
N: No one can tell this by talking to me, because I sound like such an airhead anymore, but I do have a MENSA card. Really. Stop laughing!
E: “Elf” is my favorite Christmas movie. If it were up to me, everyone would answer the phone using their name and then the phrase, “what’s your favorite color.” I take exception to his dietary guidelines, but acting like every day is Christmas would make the world a way more fun place.
I don’t think I know 6 people who have blogs. How about Barb H., Andrea, Melanie the “Lit Chick,” and Ginger. And anyone else who feels like playing. Leave me a link to your blog if you do it, please, so I can read your lists!
