Don’t gasp, but I have 5 kids, all of whom are pretty cool. I’ve been married for 25 years to the same man (again, try not to gasp), and I still think it must be a dream, since it’s hard to believe he has put up with me all this time. For the past 19 years I’ve been a stay-at-home mom, but before that I put in a decade in the textbook publishing industry. I hope my blog will be fun to read, and at least a little bit interesting. Thanks for checking it out!
I admit I’m a Janet Evanovich junkie. I am the first to buy the hardback (gasp), that’s how bad it is.
I just read the Lord of the Rings series right before the movies came out. I was so moved by the language and the characters and the story, I couldn’t finish the last one for several weeks because I didn’t want to leave the characters.
I’m so glad you started this blog. Reading your stories is the next thing to being there.
By the way, it’s shocking that I was there 25 years ago, when I’m only 38. How does that happen? Can’t wait for more. T
Hi Jan,
Love your blog! I wish I was disciplined enough to sit and post blogs (entertaining ones). What a great outlet. Wouldn’t it be great if some publisher somewhere surfed into it and offered you megabucks to put them into a book? HA! I can see my fantasies are running away, plus it’s pretty late.
Anyhow, I’m reading The Day Christ Died by Jim Bishop (An Historical Novel) in between the L2R books. So far, it’s pretty good. I’d have to say historical fiction is my favorite genre.
We just finished The Kite Runner in L2R. I highly recommend this book–great story (with a great ending).
I see Seany up at the library all the time – he’s such a cutie! Say hi to the fam.
Take care – I’ll check back.

What a funny blog! Love it!
Thanks for the encouraging words, Jan! It means a lot to me!

Take care.
Your Young Friend Kristy
Dear Jan,
Disappointed to not get your Christmas letter, so I did bite on your suggestion that I check out your blog.
Quite funny, witty, honest–just as I remember you! Have to make the yummy pudding cake (because I do love chocolate!)
Love,
Patti
Hi Jan,
I’m at Becky’s house using Rick’s computer. She’s giving me lessons on Internet basics. I don’t have a computer yet.
Bye for now,
Aunt Rita
I FOUND YOU!
You have, for the past few years, left messages on my blog with a link to nowhere – not even an email. And now I found you… thank the lord and praise hallelujah!
